Christy Heart Mark

This is a two page spread from my wedding ceremony scrapbook.  This page features our wedding invitation (which took many hours, and several people, to make!).

The red pieces on the invitation were actually pieces of material that was left over from the table runners that my friend (and one of my bridesmaids) Heather helped make.  (That was a lot of little squares, strips, and hearts to cut!)

To tie in the red of the invitation, I used red strips behind this photo of us at the altar, making a bookend look.

On the opposite page I used another flowery looking paper for the base page, only this one is in color, and I used white accents.

I used this ribbon that reminded me of a wedding dress as an accent.  I pop-dotted the photo of us kissing to add more texture to the page, and to separate the photo a little from the ribbon.

Then I used a little more ribbon below, and used red, sparkly designed Recollection tape on the ribbon, tying into the red from wedding invitation and accent paper on the opposite page.

And a little embellishment of two birds with a little red heart (yes, more red!).

Bringing it all together, the two-page spread looks like:
