The Perfect Christmas Gift
Mark made this beautiful picture for Christmas for me. It features all the animals (I love Octavius jumping up at the moon!), which makes for the perfect picture, because I had really hoped we could get a wedding photo with all the animals, but it just wasn't possible. It's the first picture we've got hanging in our new home!

Hi Becky, it's not a painting, it's papercrafted (kind of like paper tole) in a shadowbox. But I think it is amazing. He designed the image and cut out all the shapes. Karen said it'll be an heirloom we'll give our kids, but I said I was planning on being buried with it. :)
Wow, it's really cool! Your kitchen is also cool, I can't wait to see your house the next time I'm in MI.
Yes, please all come and visit us! If you come during the summer we can have a barbeque, and maybe take our raft onto the lake. :)
