Is the Prius worse than the Hummer?

So, as "Mr. Green" relates in this post on the Sierra Club's website, there are a lot of myths about hybrids, and the Prius specifically. After reading this article, I was reminded of how much I wanted to buy a hybrid. Just need to save up some money (you know, save some green to go green... :).
